These glorious globe grapes were delivered to our hostess in South Africa. They really were irresistable, and I elected to show them off against the geographic form and shadow of the garden wall.
I love the sweet, juicy red pepper. I cut around one to have some for lunch, but when I pulled it apart I discovered a growth inside that looked like a swan. Lunch was forgotten as I ran for my camera and backdrop. To get the natural light I wanted, I propped it up on my television and managed to get off 4 shots before it fell and broke. This was clearly a once in a lifetime opportunity.
The pitcher in the window is found in The Dennehof in Prince Albert, South Africa. A delightful Colonial farm, now a bed and breakfast, it was as charming within as without.
